The Diana Award

Cassidy is extremely humbled to have been honoured today, to be named a recipient of The Princess Diana Award 2020 .

"Established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. The Diana Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work in the World. Our vision is to promote a culture that celebrates young people from all sections of society who have made a selfless contribution to their community. By recognising the amazing work they do we can support and encourage young people to continue changing their communities for the better".

It is a huge honour but without the massive support and all the amazing volunteers over the years, this would never have happened. It takes a village.

The YoungBeing Award: Young women aged 16-22 who has achieved extraordinary social change for their community’s wellbeing through passion, commitment and vision. It was a beautiful evening on the eve of International Womens Day, and it was an incredible privilege to be sitting in a room full of amazing and inspiring women, with so many stories to share and the keynote guest speaker was Sam Bloom who courageously shared her story.

Congratulations to all the winners and finalists and strong women everywhere.
